Statement Of Professional Fundraising Fees

All entrants acknowledge that after deduction of payment processing fees equal to 4% of contributions received: 30% of all funds raised will go to the promoter and professional fundraiser. These fees help cover ongoing maintenance of the online donation platform, customer support services, and marketing costs used to grow support for the charity partner to help them deliver their outstanding charitable initiatives. The promoter and professional fundraiser is Sweepsies Ltd with a mailing address at 483 Green Lanes, London, N13 4BS.

Terms related to reforestation costs

All participants acknowledge that while reforestation costs are based on actual previous operating costs, these costs are an average and may vary from time to time.

Participants also acknowledge that the protected and planted trees represented in their accounts are only approximate representations of the actual work being done and do not relate to specific trees, but rather an average across the many projects supported by MyWorld & Conservation International. Terms related to payments of monthly contributions

When you create your donation plan, your first payment will be taken immediately when you register.

Each month after that, if you have chosen this, your next monthly donation will be taken on the same day you signed up. For example, if you sign up on June 10th, your next donation will be taken on the following July 10th.

You can cancel your donation at any time in your online account. You will still be eligible for charity updates and automatic entry into prize draws during any monthly term you have paid for.

Requests for refunds will be acknowledged and issued in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations (2013).

Any requests for refunds which are received 14 days after a contribution is made will be treated on a case by case basis.

Terms related to online accounts

The operator, Sweepsies Ltd., may terminate, vary or suspend the access to online accounts for breach of these terms, general maintenance, or any other reasonable measures.

It is the responsibility of the user to make sure that all signup details are accurate and true. Setting up an account with someone else's information is strictly prohibited.

The sharing of accounts and multiple accounts are prohibited and access to the services will be revoked if a user and/or users are found to have multiple or shared accounts.

Please be aware that the MyWorld prize component is not a charity raffle or lottery, but rather a prize draw. Our online competition offers an entry option through mail. It's not mandatory to make a purchase to participate. However, the primary aim of our prize draw is to encourage participants to win prizes while supporting a noble charitable cause.

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN ANY PRIZE DRAW. ODDS OF WINNING DEPEND UPON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE ENTRIES. A CONTRIBUTION OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING A PRIZE.

Other Prizes: Prizes in the Prize Draw may change from time to time, but prize amounts will never change once a prize draw has opened. Please check these terms and conditions for the most recent prize structure. All prizes are non-refundable, and cannot be substituted or exchanged.

Free prize draw entry deadline

The deadline to enter a prize draw will be 24 hours prior to draw occurring.

Any postal entries received after this deadline will be added to the next draw.

Winner announcements

All winners will be notified by email that they have won and publicly available previous winner information will be made available upon request.

Who is eligible to win a prize?

Eligible entrants must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United Kingdom to enter. All entrants must verify their age and identity before claiming a prize.

Entrants must not be residents of Belgium, Cuba, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Italy, North Korea, Singapore, Sudan, Syria or Thailand. Any entries from residents of the aforementioned countries will be deemed ineligible and are non-refundable. Entries are also subject to all local laws and certain conditions in foreign jurisdictions may prevent the issuing of a prize.

Employees, officers, or immediate family members of the charity partners, sponsors or contest promoters are not eligible to receive a prize.

Entrants may be required to confirm their age, identity and location before they can receive a cash prize. Cash prizes must be claimed with registered email and signup details.

Methods of entry

We offer two methods of entry:

Automatic entry with contribution:

To make a donation and contribute to our amazing cause, you can select a plan which has a given amount of automatic entries. A participant can find these plan inside the app or select from any of our donation plans on the website.

To enter for free via post:

While we encourage you to contribute to the great cause we support, you can enter for free via post. Postal details are as follows: Sweepsies Ltd, 483 Green Lanes, N13 4BS, London, UK Postal entries are given the average amount of entries, and are treated the same as entries by donation, and have the same chance of winning as entries by donation. Opportunities to win with a contribution plan occur only once per prize draw or draw, you can also only enter one time by post for a given prize daw or draw. Postal entries will grant you entries for the 30 day window in which they are received.

Selection process

Winners (subject to eligibility) will be chosen via an independent cryptographically secure pseudo-random number generator (CSPRNG) These are random generators, which guarantee that the random numbers coming from them are absolutely unpredictable. CSPRNG satisfy the next-bit test and withstand the state compromise extensions to ensure fairness, and goes above and beyond regular computer applications which include random functionality.

Awarding prizes

Odds of winning depend on the number of entries an entrant has per draw.

Winners may be required to sign paperwork re-confirming their eligibility as a winner.

No purchase, payment, contribution is necessary to enter or win a prize.

The winner will have 45 days to claim their prize, at which point they will either be added back into the rewards pool, or donated to the charity.

Distribution of funds raised

All entrants acknowledge that after payment processing & Other associated transaction fees, 40% of all funds raised will go to the charity partner.

(a) loss of revenue, contract, profits, business or anticipated savings or loss of data;

(b) any special or indirect or consequential losses;

(c) any loss of goodwill or reputation; or

(d) the loss of opportunity to enter a fundraising initiative and/or right to receive a prize

The promoter makes no warranty, representation or guarantee that use of the websites, telephone system, broadcast or live transmission will be uninterrupted, timely and/or error-free

Final terms

None of the promoter, the charity partner and its affiliated and related entities, and/or member clubs, or any associated bodies, sponsors or partners shall be liable in contract, tort (including but not limited to negligence) or otherwise in connection with this fundraising initiative for:

  • loss of revenue, contract, profits, business or anticipated savings or loss of data;
  • any special or indirect or consequential losses; any loss of goodwill or reputation; or
  • the loss of opportunity to enter a fundraising initiative and/or right to receive a prize
